MINISTRY: Children's Evangelist CHRISTINA LOGAN HOME CHURCH: Rasharkin Free Presbyterian ON FIELD SINCE: 2018 PROFILE: The Lord saved me at the age of nine and He graciously kept me close to Himself throughout my teenage years. At the end of Secondary School, I felt the Lord leading me into Bible College and therefore began studying at the Whitefield College of the Bible in September 2013. Going through college however, I was not sure what the Lord wanted me to do for Him, but at the end of my two years of studying an opportunity arose for me to go out to Liberia to visit the work of the Lord in that place. I thoroughly enjoyed my time spent in Liberia, especially working alongside Miss Joanne Greer and Rev. David DiCanio. I enjoyed working with the children and learnt much about Missionary life. However, while I was in Liberia, I did have a burden for the children in Northern Ireland. So, after coming home from Liberia, that burden for children placed there by the Lord grew, and my love for the souls of the boys and girls deepened. I got more involved in the children’s work in my own church and started to take part in the children’s meetings and in Sunday School. I also took part in several Holiday Bible Clubs over the summer. However, the Lord wanted me to go into full-time service for Him amongst the boys and girls and He challenged me to do so with the words of Numbers 32.6 – ‘Shall your brethren go to war, and shall ye sit here?’ Therefore, I applied to the Mission Board to become a full-time Children’s worker in Northern Ireland and was kindly accepted in December 2017. I would ask that you pray for me as I begin this work for the Lord, that He would open doors of opportunity to be able to speak a word for Him amongst the boys and girls, and that many young souls will be won for Christ. Matthew 18.14 – ‘Even so it is not the will of your Father which is in heaven, that one of these little ones should perish’
